Bill began his career in public accounting in 1972 after graduating from Troy State University. He has been with the firm of Rabren, Odom, Pierce & Hayes, P.C. since it's inception. Bill's areas of auditing and taxation experience have been in manufacturing, timber, construction contracting, professional, wholesalers and numerous other industries. His background includes individuals, corporations, estates, trusts and partnerships. Bill has earned the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of CPAs, and the Florida Institute of CPAs.

 Kenneth R. Odom, CPA, CGFM, Shareholder
Ken's career began in public accounting after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University in 1976. His primary expertise over his career has been in the area of governmental accounting and auditing. He has served on numerous committees and chaired numerous committees for the Alabama Society of CPAs and has been a frequent lecturer in the southeast in this area. In addition to his expertise in governmental area, Ken has a wide range of experience in the area of taxation, and with audits of small businesses including manufacturing and contractor's. Ken has earned the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement for Governmental Accounting and Auditing. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of CPAs, and the Florida Institute of CPAs.

 Melissa C. Pierce, CPA, Shareholder
Missy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She joined Rabren, Odom, Pierce & Hayes, P.C. in November of 1997 and has since gained valuable experience in all fields of public accounting. Her major areas of experience include audits of governmental entities, not for profits, and small business, as well as all phases of taxation. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Missy is also a member of the Andalusia Kiwanis Club.

 Gail C. Hayes, CPA, Shareholder
Gail graduated from Troy State University in 1997 with her Bachelor of Science degree in acccounting. She worked in private accounting before starting her public accounting career with the firm in 1998. Since that time, Gail has gained extensive experience in the area of governmental accounting and auditing as well as all phases of taxation. Her audit experience includes but is not limited to governmental entities, non-profit organizations, and small businesses. Gail is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of CPAs. She is also a member of the Andalusia Rotary Club.

 Cynthia A. Meilike
Cynthia received her degree in accounting in 1977 from the University of North Florida. She worked in industry for seven years prior to entering public accounting in 1988. She joined the firm in July 2000. Her areas of experience include audits of small businesses and governmental entities, all phases of taxation, as well as providing technology consulting to small businesses. She is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and an associate member of the Alabama Society of CPAs.

 Jana G. Ealum
Jana received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from The University of Alabama in 2000 and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of South Alabama in 2001. She began her public accounting career in September of 2001 and joined Rabren, Odom, Pierce & Hayes, P.C. in September of 2003. Her areas of experience include audits of non-profit organizations, governmental entities, and small businesses, as well as all phases of taxation. She is an associate member of the Alabama Society of CPAs.

 Jan M. Harbuck
Jan graduated in 2006 with her Master of Business Administration from Troy University, where she also received her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. She joined Rabren, Odom, Pierce & Hayes, P.C. in the spring of 2007. Jan has 25 years experience in private accounting. Jan is an associate member of the Alabama Society of CPAs.

Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2003 and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in accounting in 2004 from Troy State University. Katie began her career in public accounting in August 2004 and joined Rabren, Odom, Pierce & Hayes, P.C. in October 2007. Her areas of experience include audits of governmental entities, higher education, not for profit, construction and financial service clients. Frances T. Rabren
Frances is the Administrative Assistant for our firm. She has been with the firm since its inception. She has over 27 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll tax, personal income tax and administrative procedures.

Starr is a para-professional with the firm and is heavily involved with individual income tax preparation and assists with the field work on various audit engagements, primarily in the governmental audit area.
